Heart Wert is designed upon technologies employed in photoplethysmography.
With Heart Wert you simply place the tip of your index finger over the camera lens (without the need to cover the flash light) to obtain your BPM (heart beat per minute).
The underlying mathematical and medical algorithms are smart enough to detect erroneous data such as noises and erroneous data caused by misplacement and sudden displacement of the finger during the scan, from which the data is gathered and processed to calculate your BPM.
Heart Wert offers you a simple interface design that provides you the data that are of your interest and importance - your BPM and the graph.
Heart Wert is smart enough to differentiate the finger from other objects - if its not a finger that is placed over the camera lens, the scan will not be started and the camera will be automatically turned off.
If you happen to forget to turn off scanning section, it will turn itself off as well. There are no buttons that you must press in order to start or to stop.
The simple however carefully designed user interface also serves to allow you a little "cool-down" or warm-up time before the scan takes place. Simply run your index finger over screen and play around with the animation, watch it reacts and settles itself a little before you start your scanning (by swiping thru the string from left to right with your finger) also serves to provide a more balanced reading.
Ease of use lies at the heart of Heart Wert.
